In the event of a problem we will provision your computer systems in to virtual Servers that we will make accessible to you within a number of hours via our website which is secured using SSL VPN technology.

Conventionally computer systems and their data are backed up to tape and the tapes are transferred to another location. In the event of a disaster the backups will need to restored to identical systems which may be very difficult to source. It can take weeks to source suitable replacement servers and office space. The alternative has been to run very expensive fully equipped second office.

SERVO overcomes all of this. No second set of servers, no alternative office and your latest data fully available within a few hours.

How does SERVO work?

	SERVO will set up your live servers so that they effectively clone themselves to a specialist Disaster Recovery Data Centre.
	With Internet based near real time replication, when the data changes on your servers the changes are reflected immediately at the Disaster Recovery Data Centre, making your Disaster Recovery Solution always fully up to date.
	In the event of a disaster we will provision your systems within a number of hours. Generally calculated at 40Gb per hour.
	You will then be able to access your fully up to date Disaster Recovery systems via a web page using highly secure SSL-VPN technology which can deliver remote desktop connections to any PC’s that have an Internet connection.

SERVO Disaster Recovery solution is built on VMware’s Virtual Infrasture platform and the Continuous Data Protection is powered by DoubleTakes’s Livewire. SERVO is a virtual server solution that can protect both virtual servers and physical servers. SERVO protects Windows servers including full operating system and system state, along with applications and locally stored data. Servers protected by SERVO include Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Oracle and File Server.
